Who we are.
Free Thinkers
We attract people who are intellectually diverse and contrarian at heart. Palantirians have strong convictions and open minds. Whether you have PhD or GED, deep thinking matters most.
Catalysts
Palantirians take initiative. There’s no top-down instruction holding you back. This creates unusual freedom: when you see a solution, you own it.
Independents
You are not evaluated by distant executives — you are judged by outcomes. There’s no oversight from anyone who isn’t directly in the problem with you. Your work will speak for itself.
Fast-movers
Palantirians make decisions quickly. We optimize for impact, not consensus. There is no bureaucratic distance between identifying a problem and fixing it.
Types of Roles
Palantir is built around three unique roles: Echos, Deltas, and Devs. While each role is distinct, they are intentionally designed to overlap, enabling teams to pursue outcomes from complementary — and often times contradictory perspectives.
01 — Echos
Echos win.
Your mission is to own the holistic actions we need to take to help our partners win; including, but not limited to: identifying the true problem limiting our partner’s mission, decomposing that problem into its component workflows, aligning stakeholders from the CIO to the nurse, solving backwards from a user’s workflow, building the technical software and/or AI solution, and ultimately moving Western institutions forward. Echos are facilitators, complementing technicality with leadership.
02 — Deltas
Deltas build.
Your job is to ensure the solutions we build actually work. In a world of demo-ware and big promises, a Delta delivers tangible outcomes. A Delta’s work includes: ensuring we are building the correct solution based on partner mission, delivering scalable data infrastructure, and designing AI systems that work in practice (not just theory), while expanding Palantir’s core platform to solve new problems as they are discovered. Deltas are cutting edge, resourceful, and technical.
03 — Devs
Devs create.
As our main product architects, you develop found solutions into real, cohesive products. Working closely with Echos and Deltas, our Devs build the platforms that power Palantir and some of the most important institutions in the world. Devs are heavily involved throughout the product lifecycle, from idea generation, design, prototyping, production and execution. You are a technically skilled synthesizer, and core engineer.
